4. Description Abstract

Gaharu buaya is one kind of gaharu producing species low quality. Resent research has shown the high demand of gaharu cause some of tree that can produced gaharu called gaharu buaya. Gaharu buaya (Aetoxylon sympetalum) is monotypic species which only found in West Borneo (probably only in Borneo). In Central Kalimantan, gaharu buaya is decaying logs of some of trees such as ramin (Gonystylus spp.), Aetoxylon sympetalum, Aquilaria sp.
